All candidates for admission must give satisfactory evidence of knowing Christ as Lord and Saviour. They should have a genuine desire to be obedient to the will of God. Candidates must demonstrate good character, personal integrity, and academic ability.

Academic Requirements
The prospective student should be a high school graduate with a total of 18 units. Of those 18 units at least 12 should be in academic areas with studies in English, Social Studies, Mathematics, and Science.
A limited number of applicants will be admitted without high school diplomas, provided they meet the following requirements:
They must be above the ordinary high school age.
They must be capable of meeting the college's academic standards.
They must pursue the diploma or the G. E. D. equivalent.
Advanced Standing
Students transferring from other schools should request an official transcript from each college attended since high school. A transcript must be sent directly to Midwestern from the previous institution. Print a request for transcript.
Credit will be given for satisfactory work (C or above) which corresponds to the curriculum of Midwestern Baptist College, provided that the work was taken in a recognized college or university.
